Festive Party Nights
Celebrate the festive season in style with our unforgettable Party & Tribute Nights in the beautifully decorated Fothergill Suite. Enjoy themed evenings including our fun-packed 80s Retro Party, high-energy Freddie Mercury Tribute Night, Drag Cabaret Party Night and lively Mixed Disco Party events - perfect for friends, colleagues, or groups looking to celebrate together.
Your night includes a delicious three-course festive dinner, novelties, live entertainment or DJ, and plenty of time on the dance floor.

Festive Dining
Fine, seasonal food is something we pride ourselves on at The Spread Eagle Hotel. Our beautiful High Street facing restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely festive lunch or dinner.
For a private dining experience you could book into our stunning AJR room with it’s period bookcases, beams, and stone fireplace or for more intimate occasions book into our smaller Cockpit room.
For larger groups celebrating the festive season, we can accommodate your party in our light and festively decorated Fothergill Suite with its own private bar and foyer. The Fothergill Suite is the perfect place to hold a group festive lunch or dinner and can accommodate up to 160 people.

Christmas Day
Celebrate Christmas Day with us in the festively decorated Spread Eagle restaurant this year.
5 course lunch is £89 (Adults)
and children up to 12 years are £49
12 noon until 2.30pm
Booking is essential and a £20 non refundable deposit per person is needed to confirm the booking, with final payment by 1st December.
Black & White New Year's Eve Ball
Step into the spotlight and welcome 2026 in timeless style at our glamorous Black & White Ball.
Enjoy a delicious three-course dinner, soak in the atmosphere of our beautifully themed room, and get ready to party with exclusive party packs to kickstart the fun. Be serenaded by the smooth sounds of David Bradley, a sensational Michael Bublé & Robbie Williams tribute artist, bringing all the swing, charm, and iconic hits you love.
As the clock strikes midnight, raise a glass of Prosecco and celebrate the New Year in true style.
