Spread Eagle Thame Dining
They applauded him then, we salute him now!
The genesis of the new Eden Bar and Grill is crystallizing before your eyes as a fresh, new English menu is fashioned.
With plenty for the epicrean to sip and savour and bags of reassurance in the comfort cooking section of the menu... there is bound to be a dish for you!
Enjoy a candlelit supper for two whilst watching the world go by or take time out to celebrate that special occasion with family, friends or colleagues.
Once made famous by John Fothergill the eccentric Proprietor of the Spread Eagle in the 1920's, the Eden Bar and Grill acknowledges its debt of gratitude to him for introducing haute cuisine to the provinces. He chronicled his experiences in the widely read book ''An Innkeepers Diary''.
